Treating Phobias and Fears with EMDR |
Phobias are seemingly irrational and automatic fears of certain places, persons, things or situations. Common phobias include fear of spiders, heights, open places, closed in places, snakes, and public speaking. Phobias are related to past, negative experiences and can often be remedied with EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and/or hypnotherapy. |
