What are panic attacks? |
Panic attacks can make a person feel like they are dying, when they are simply having an intense emotional experience. Symptoms include rapid heartbeat, difficulty breathing, chest pain, sweating, sense of doom or impending death, nausea, and feelings of "going crazy." Panic attacks can be remedied with EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) by eliminating the emotional charge of past events that feed this disorder. |
